Muthu chippi Parpam is a siddha herbo- mineral preparation explained in detail in Siddha text siddha vaidya thirattu. The main ingredient of the preparation is pearl oyster shells. This medicine is used in the treatment of piles, fistula, cough, and tuberculosis.
The dosage of this preparation is 200-300 mg twice a day. It's usually given with butter or ghee. Along with Karunai Lehyam and Naga parpam it a good remedy for bleeding piles.
