Vanga vennai is a butter like siddha medicine used externally for various diseases.The ingredients of this medicine are 

1. Red Lead (Vangam) (Triplumbic tetroxide/ minium)

2. Litharge (Mirudaar singi) (Lead(II) Monoxide)

3. Blue vitriol (mayil thutham)(Thurissu) (Copper Sulphate)

4. Butter

The preparation process of this medicine is explained in siddha text Siddha Vaidya Thirattu. This medicine is externally applied for ulcers and fungal infections of skin.
