Geriatric Health-care and Siddha

Let us care our parents, who are in there second childhood.

In every year on October 1st it is considered as International Day for the Elderly. According to United Nations, One out of every ten persons is now 60 years or above; by 2050, one out of five will be 60 years or older; and by 2150, one out of three persons will be 60 years or older. This aging of population is more marked in developed countries.

Geriatric is a branch of modern medicine like pediatrics, gynecology etc, which deals with the health-care of the elderly people.
