A special meeting was conducted at the Official Chamber of Ho. Minister for Health and Family Welfare (Including AYUSH) of Kerala today. The meeting was organised for addressing the issues facing siddha fraternity in Kerala. A combined front of siddha doctors represented 11 most important needs of Kerala siddha fraternity.
The officials present in the meeting were Shri. G. Suresh Kumar, Private Secretary to Minister for Health, Shri. M. Ravikumar, Additional Private Secretary to Minister for Health Dr. Anitha Jacob, Director, Indian Systems of Medicine, Dr. T.Sivadas, Director Ayurveda Medical Education, Dr.G.S.Balachandran Nair, State Program manager, National AYUSH Mission (NAM), Dr.P.Haridas, State Program manager, National AYUSH Mission (NAM), Dr. Gopinadan, Joint Director, Indian Systems Of Medicine, Dr.R.B.RemaKumari,DMO-ISM, Thiruvananthapuram and Aadaraneeya Swami Gururethnam Njana Thapaswi, Organising Secretary, Santhigiri Asram. Aadaraneeya Swami Gururethnam Njana Thapaswi, of Santhigiri Asram had a great role in arranging this meeting. All the issues raised by siddha doctors addressed in the meeting and consolidated to present before Hon. Minister. The siddha community were represented by Dr. Vivek Andrews, Dr.Shabel.P.V, Dr.Prakash.S.L, Dr.Shiji.P, Dr,Salini Krishna of Siddha Graduates Medical Association(SiGMA) Dr.Ansari and Dr.Abil Mohan of Siddha medical Association (SIMAI), Dr.Vijayakumar, CCIM Member, Dr.P.Hariharan,Vice Principal, Santhigiri Siddha Medical College, Dr.Jalarani, SMO,Govt.Siddha Hospital, Vallakkadavu and office bearers of PTA.
